Meet the Staff
 Pamela Mortemore, P.T.
Pamela Mortemore founded Body Kinetics of Florida in October of 2002. Pamela is a Licensed Physical Therapist and a Certified Polestar Pilates Practitioner of Rehabilitation.
The internationally recognized Polestar Pilates Education program certified Pamela in July of 2000, which is only given to therapists passing a rigorous training and testing process of many months can be eligible to receive this certification. Pamela has over 6 years of teaching Pilates-Evolved training on Pilates' equipment and in mat programs. In April 2005 Pamela started the certification process for a Gyrotonic® instructor level I. Pamela continues to create Pilates and Gyrotonic® programs for her patients to increase their functional outcome.

 April Mortemore
April Mortemore teaches Pilates and Gyrotonic® for Fitness and post-rehabilitation clients. She has been practicing Pilates for seven years and teaching for over two years. She was trained at Polestar Pilates Education in Miami, FL. April has been training for her Gyrotonic® certification for over a year. She is currently a certified Gyrotonic® apprentice and awaiting certification.
April is currently studying to be a massage therapist. She is continuing to expand her holistic knowledge. April loves to work with people guiding them toward a lifestyle of wellness.
Kimberly Perrella Vein MPT, ATC
Kim is a graduate of the University of Florida where she received a BS degree in Exercise and Sport Science and became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1991. She then went on to get her Masters in Physical Therapy ftom the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 1999. She has worked with a wide range of athletes and dancers from the pre-professional and high school level to the collegiate and professional level. Kim's training includes mentoring from the world renouned Frank Jobe, MD at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA.
Kim was first introduced to Pilates in 1990 after sustaining a knee injury while studying Classical Ballet. It was at that time that she realized the invaluable benefits of Pilates to her rehabilitation and return to dance. She went on to study with The Joffrey Ballet in New York City, The Pennsylvania Ballet, and The San Francisco Ballet. In 1992, Kim was awarded Honorable Mention at the National Federation for Advancement in the Arts Competition in Miami, Florida.
It was from Kim's love of dance and experiences as an injured performing artist that she decided to specialize in helping other performing artists and athletes rehabilitate and reach their goals. She is a Certified Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist and is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science.
